DECORATE YOUR INTERIOR

# New coat of paint

We can’t be seriously talking about decorating without mentioning painting. It is the simplest solution out there for giving the space a fresh look. If you’re thinking about just renewing the same old pale color you’ve previously used, better stop right there. It’s time to get out of your comfort zone, and opt for a little bolder option. Try using different patterns and more intense colors. Keep in mind, that if you’re painting a small room, a lighter color will make the space look bigger, and when it comes to bigger spaces, darker colors will compliment them. But, even in a huge room, all walls painted dark red, for example, would be a little too much. So the key is in creating perfectly harmonious combination of colors.

# WonderWalls

Make your wall a wall of wonders and you will definitely bring in style to your home. Get creative with the decoration of your freshly painted walls. Depending on the available space, you can embellish them with real photo gallery, or one painting that will accentuate certain part of the room. You can even hang a bunch of family photos, maybe arranged in chronological order. Or find some special theme for your gallery. High ceilings mean high hopes. If you are lucky enough to live in a home with high ceilings, you have countless ways to arrange them to look even more grandiose. Among numerous choices you have, to make your high ceiling home look more inviting, are artistic paintings, surfing canvas art prints, family photo collages, posters, and graphic art.

DECORATE YOUR INTERIOR

# Let there be light

There is no happier home, than the one filled with light. If you’re not fortunate enough to have a lot of windows that will provide you with Nature given lightning, you may just have to turn to a “made by man” sources of light. Head to a quest for various lamps, such as floor lamps, ceiling lights, work lamps, wall lamps, or wall spotlights, and give your home a few extra rays of light. Be sure to be creative with your choices, because it will serve not only as an additional source of lightning, but as an adornment and a gem of your interior.

# The new old

If you want to stay on budget, but you are really tired of your old furniture that looks indeed shabby and depressive compared to your freshly painted and decorated walls, no reason to grieve. You can touch up a bit your old furniture and give it a new glow. Replace the upholstery on your old couch and chairs. Give a new layer of color to the coffee table. You’ll be amazed by what a little paint and linen can do.

So, roll up your sleeves, and say: I can do it! The hard work will pay off in a home to wish for.
